Shifts for this job will be allocated at weekends and school holidays, many of which will be in Aug, Sept, Oct, Nov and Dec.

Responsible to:  Farm Manager

​

Job type: Part time

​

Hours:  One day per week in term-time, more available in holidays

​

Core hours: Saturdays or Sundays 9:00am – 5.00pm

​

Additional hours:  Available during Wirral school holidays Monday - Sunday.

​

Church Farm is a popular farm park attraction for families with young children. This role is predominantly involved in the mucking out and feeding of animals at the start of the day but tasks will also be allocated in farm park maintenance including grass cutting, painting, fence repairing etc.

 

MAIN ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE POST

Responsibility

• Feeding the farm animals

• Setting up park equipment each morning

• Mucking out the animals 

• Farm park maintenance

​

Cleaning

• Ensuring all facilities are clean and swept

• Making sure bins are emptied

• Cleaning the toilet facilities

​

Health & Safety

• Ensuring customers adhere to all safety information

• Removal of broken or unsafe equipment until it can be fixed

​
